The cluster helps companies overcome barriers to growth such as;  

  • A cluster of fishery companies with projects on key development opportunities e.g Women in Fisheries, Seaweed, Export etc through facilitated discussions within Special Interest Groups with a Cluster Manager to help you develop solutions and overcome barriers.   
  • Providing a framework for innovation including academic institutions, companies, government and a range of stakeholders – strengthening innovation leading to sustainable growth.

Sustainability Cluster 

The Sustainability Cluster is part of the Food & Drink Wales Cluster Programme and is aimed at supporting growth through industry collaboration and connectivity. 

Dairy Sheep Milk Cluster  

A Dairy Sheep Wales project was established in 2021 to explore the feasibility and advance the development of a Welsh sheep dairy sector that enhances farm profitability, environmental sustainability, food sector innovation and long-term rural resilience.
